Dear friends and Manjushree community

As you all know, the COVID-19 virus is spreading throughout the world creating suffering on so many levels and for so many people, both from illness and anxiety, and financial concern. In our meditation practice and studies we have been working to develop wisdom and compassion, and now is a time of special need where we must apply what we have been practicing. In support of local efforts to control the spread, we have decided to act with a heightened level of precaution and to temporarily suspend gathering for the weekly Thursday and Sunday programs.  Manjushree Hermitage facilities will undergo a deep clean but public spaces including the library, meditation hall and main house will remain closed until further notice. We can all continue our practice from home and do self study of the lojong teachings. We will set up a messenger group and continue the discussion group online for anyone who is interested in joining. Please email manjushreehermitage@gmail.com if you are interested in joining the online meetups.
